Chappaqua Colonial

In this classic old farmhouse-style home, Shiloh helped a young family transition from city living to a more intentional suburban lifestyle by correcting scale, refining the color story, and rethinking how each space was used. Apartment-sized furnishings were repurposed for a basement lounge, while paint, proportion, and new furniture brought clarity, warmth, and an adult sensibility to the main living, dining and primary bedroom.

Client Testimonial

“We had a fantastic experience working with Shiloh and Hannah at Two Merlin. I was initially hesitant about using an interior designer because I didn’t want to be pushed into a style that didn’t feel like us or didn’t work for life with young kids. From the start, they just got it. They gently pushed us outside our comfort zone in the best way, bringing in colors and ideas we never would have considered while still keeping everything true to our style.

They were also great at supporting our preference to be really practical, helping us mix investment pieces with more kid-friendly choices and always keeping our lifestyle in mind. They work with excellent vendors and made the whole process feel seamless.

I’m also very indecisive, and they were amazing at helping me make decisions and feel confident about them. They were so gracious with their time, even when I was debating small details. As two full-time working parents, we also really appreciated how flexible they were with our schedules. They would come to the house prepared to work through decisions in the short windows we had between calls, making the most of those moments and keeping everything moving forward.

They’re responsive, transparent, and truly wonderful to work with. We’re so grateful for their help creating a home we love. We can’t wait for our next project with them!”
