Shiloh Mackey

Founder & President, Two Merlin Design Studio

Shiloh Mackey approaches interior design with an intuitive understanding of how people actually live in their spaces. From an early age, she recognized that balance, flow, and proportion aren’t just aesthetic choices—they directly shape how a home functions day to day. That perspective continues to guide her work today, where beauty and practicality are always designed in tandem.

Known for her refined, layered aesthetic, Shiloh blends rich textures, thoughtful color palettes, and elevated lighting stories to create spaces that feel warm and intentional. But what truly sets her work apart is her ability to solve spatial challenges—reimagining layouts, shaping how one room naturally flows into another, and maximizing square footage so every space works as beautifully as it looks. Whether redesigning flooring plans, optimizing storage, or rethinking how rooms are used, she designs with lifestyle at the center.

Shiloh takes the time to understand how families move through their homes—how spaces are gathered in, lived in, and evolved over time—ensuring each design supports both daily life and long-term use. Clients trust her not only for her discerning eye and curatorial sourcing, but for her clarity, care, and hands-on approach throughout the process.

Rooted in Sleepy Hollow on her beloved Merlin Avenue, Shiloh draws inspiration from her daughters, travel and the modern rhythms of the clients she serves. A former collegiate athlete and dedicated community leader, she brings discipline, warmth, and purpose to every project. Her spaces don’t just make a statement—they function effortlessly, honor lifestyle, and feel distinctly personal.

Hannah Cole

Design Director

Hannah studied Communication Design at the Parsons School of Design, but she grew up on a farm — a foundation that shaped both her creative eye and her roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic. That hands-on upbringing translates naturally to interior design, where she’s just as comfortable discussing proportion and palette as she is rolling out an oversized rug, assembling furniture on-site, or managing the physical rhythm of installation day. For Hannah, great design isn’t precious — it’s personal, practical, and fully realized.

At Two Merlin Design Studio, Hannah serves as Design Director, guiding projects from concept through execution with clarity and intention. She has a particular love for moody rooms, smart spatial solutions, and thoughtful renovation. Rather than defaulting to major additions, she specializes in making homes work better — uncovering efficient, creative ways to reimagine what’s already there. Her work is layered and deeply livable, and she’s known for gently encouraging clients to take one thoughtful risk — a deeper paint color than they first imagined, a fabric with more personality, a style that feels slightly outside their comfort zone. Hannah believes those choices are often the ones homeowners end up loving most. She designs spaces that feel comfortable and thoughtful.

After living and working in New York City, Chicago, and Atlanta, Hannah now lives in Dobbs Ferry with her husband and their two daughters.  Outside the studio, you’ll likely find her cheering from the sidelines at one of her girl's sporting events or immersed in the ongoing renovation of their 1885 home — a hands-on project that continually deepens her appreciation for historic character and modern function.
